We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was always kept clean, with floorboards and bare brick walls. We loved the location, right across the street from the market and just a 5 to 10 minute walk to a great beach. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a nice pool and a good breakfast.

The staff was HELPFUL, and we had the benefit of just 15 minutes' walk right to bang niang beach. We liked the fact that we chose motive cottage resort. Location, an easy walk to all attractions. Can recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's attention to detail. From the well-maintained rooms with AC and hot water to the friendly and helpful staff, everything was top-notch. The location, in the heart of the city, is perfect for exploring all that Khao Lak has to offer.

The bed was awsome and the pool inside was very nice.

Poor english among the staaf no one to help woth the luggage to the room and some mix ups where done costing me time.

I recently discovered this hidden gem in Thailand and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel provides excellent value for money with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The location is also perfect, with plenty of affordable and delicious dining options nearby. The staff were attentive and the basic amenities were well-maintained, including the clean and well-equipped rooms with air conditioning and hot water. The breakfast provided was a great start to the day.

Everything was perfectly fine during my stay.

The staff were excellent and spoke very good English. The breakfasts were amazing with plenty of choices. The swimming pool was very clear and clean. The beach was a short walk away and were just like the photos in the brochures. If you want to do James Bond Island and where the "beach" was filmed all this can be arranged from here. What an amazing hotel forget the rest of Thailand just stay at the "Motive Cottage Resort"

The atmosphere was very relaxed and reception was extremely helpful to both my girlfriend and myself. The hotel was not too crowded so we were able to relax by the pool. I felt the breakfasts could have been more varied with more local food choice and a wider range of local fruit. Plenty of bottled water was provided in the room which was clean and satisfactorily furnished for the price.

Stayed here for Christmas and had a great time! The hotel offered a nice pool and free wifi. It was also located close to the beach and a number of other attractions. A big plus was the delicious breakfast served every morning.

The room/bathroom was quite basic and could use some updates. , the staff sometimes struggled with English and couldn't always understand our requests.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a wonderful location in Thailand. The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful, assisting with reservations and providing great recommendations for day trips. The room was lovely, with modern amenities such as AC and hot water. It was clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere by the pool. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently situated near the city center, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions.

Everything was great, no improvements needed.

Located in a peaceful area, this hotel is very close to everything. A 5 to 10 minute walk will take you to a great beach and the center of town, where you can find plenty of shops and restaurants. A nearby restaurant called Dao Thung serves delicious food. the room is clean and comfortable.

The pool could benefit from better maintenance.

Nice decor, great pool the hotel had a nice decor, which made the rooms look cozy and comfortable. the pool was also a great feature, perfect for relaxing after a long day of work. the hotel was located close to the main street, which made it easy to find restaurants and shops. the hotel offered a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, which was very convenient and saved me a lot of money.

Disappointing breakfast, inconsistent service the breakfast was not up to standard. the fried eggs were reheated and cold, and not very appetizing.
